History
Green smoothies became a trend in the 2000s thanks to Victoria Boutenko, who popularized raw green cocktails. Since then, detox smoothies have been a must-have on every fitness cafe menu.
Preparation
1Wash the spinach and chop the cucumber.
2Peel the apple and banana, chop.
3Grate the ginger finely.
4Place all ingredients in a blender, add water and lemon juice.
5Blend until smooth and serve.
⏱ Cook time: 5 min
Tips
Spinach is almost undetectable in taste but gives a vibrant green color and loads of vitamins. Banana masks the bitterness of greens.
