History

Preparation

1Sort and rinse buckwheat.
2Cover with cold water, add salt.
3Bring to a boil, reduce heat to minimum.
4Cook covered 15–20 minutes until all water is absorbed.
5Add butter, stir, and let rest 10 minutes.

Tips

Water to buckwheat ratio is always 2:1.
Don't open the lid during cooking.
For fluffy grains, toast buckwheat in a dry pan first.
