History

Chao fan (fried rice) is one of the most widespread dishes in Asia. Every country has its own version: Chinese, Thai, Indonesian nasi goreng. The golden rule is to use day-old rice.

Ingredients

Cooked rice400g
Eggs3 pc
Green onionbunch
Soy sauce2 tbsp
Sesame oil1 tsp
Vegetable oil2 tbsp

Preparation

1Beat the eggs, scramble on high heat, breaking into pieces.
2Set eggs aside, add oil to the same pan.
3Add cold rice, fry for 3-4 minutes without stirring too often.
4Add soy sauce and eggs, toss together.
5Top with scallions and drizzle with sesame oil.
