History

Tvorog bake is a classic Russian dessert made in every household. Especially popular as a healthy breakfast for children. In Soviet kindergartens and schools, this bake was a mandatory menu item.

Ingredients

Eggs2 pc
Sugar3 tbsp
Semolina3 tbsp
Vanilla sugar1 tsp
Butterfor greasing

Preparation

1Mix tvorog with eggs and sugar.
2Add semolina, sour cream, and vanilla sugar.
3Let rest for 15 minutes so the semolina swells.
4Grease a baking dish with butter, spread the mixture in.
5Bake at 180°C for 35–40 minutes until golden.
6Serve with sour cream or jam.
