History
Vinegret is a Russian salad of boiled vegetables dressed with oil and vinegar. The name comes from the French "vinaigre" — vinegar. It appeared in Russia in the 19th century and became one of the most popular everyday salads.

Boiled potato2 pc

Onion1/2 pc
Vegetable oil3 tbsp

Preparation
1Boil beetroot, potatoes, and carrots. Let cool.
2Dice everything into small cubes.
3Mix the vegetables, add peas and finely chopped onion.
4Dress with oil, add salt to taste.
5Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Dice and dress the beetroot with oil separately — it won't stain the other vegetables.
