History

Preparation
1Slice apples thinly and mix with sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and nuts.
2Roll out the dough thinly and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
3Place the filling along one edge.
4Roll into a log and seal the edges.
5Brush with butter and bake at 190°C for 30-35 minutes until golden.

Breadcrumbs absorb apple juice and prevent the dough from getting soggy. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
